Clothing

All items must be clean and in good condition. We do not have capacity to launder or repair items. Storage facilities are also limited, so we cannot store across the seasons.

We look for seasonally appropriate clothing (daywear) & shoes for men, women, & children & in particular

  • Clothing suitable for young adult men and women
  • Trainers & sensible shoes
  • Jeans & trousers
  • Warm coats and jackets (during winter only)
  • New underwear & socks
  • Baby and children’s clothing
  • School uniform basics (without logo’s please)
  • Suitcases

Sorry, but we cannot accept: wellington boots, 2nd hand socks & underwear

Items can be dropped off at Avenue Church on Wednesdays from 10am – 1pm

Household Goods

All items must be clean, unmarked and in good condition. We do not have capacity to launder or repair items.

 

  • Suitcases
  • Bedding: Duvets, pillows, sheets, pillowcases & duvet covers
  • Cot bedding
  • Crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs & cups
  • Cooking pans
  • Cookware, kitchenware and kitchen utensils
  • Household basics (bins, ironing boards, washing baskets etc)

Sorry, but we cannot accept: electrical items, bric a brac

Items can be dropped off at Avenue Church on Wednesdays from 10am -1pm

Furniture

We aim to offer core items of furniture to those setting up home in the area for the first time. Items must be clean and in good condition. All upholstered items must have a label still attached confirm that they comply with fire retardance regulations. We look for:

  • Sofas and suites
  • Dining tables and dining chairs
  • Chests of drawers
  • Bedside cabinets
  • Beds and clean mattresses
  • Wardrobes
  • Bookshelves
  • Coffee tables
